In this research, a computerized classification test system was designed and developed for 5th grade students to manage their own learning. In this context, the relationship between learners participation in the e-assessment system and motivation strategies was examined. In addition, the relationship between students' perceptions of utility and intention to use the system in the future was examined and a profile analysis was put forward. The study group consisted of 2199 fifth grade students. These students continue their education in a total of seven schools, two secondary schools in Ankara and İzmir and three secondary schools in Konya. In the developed system, students were able to evaluate their own learning and to learn whether they have the gains in mathematics (their gain-based competencies). In this context, the mathematics course acquisitions of 5th grade curriculum were examined and questions were prepared with the support of the Ministry of National Education and field experts. One of the most important features of the system is its adaptive test structure. The students used the system for three weeks. At the end of the application process, the data were collected with self-report scales for the purpose of the research. As a result of the students' system usage, interaction data participation structure was revealed. In this research, the relationship between motivation strategies and participation status of the students was examined. There was a positive correlation between the levels of participation, test anxiety, self-efficacy and task value. In addition, a positive correlation was found between the students' perceptions of utility and their intention to use the system in the future. It was found that the intention of the students to use the e-evaluation system was influenced by motivation strategies and system-related design features. In addition, it is seen that students with high metacognitive awareness intend to use the system in the future.
