Abstract

In this stuy, op.23 d mınor Piyano Concerto of Edward MacDowell was analyzed a long with a brief research an American music histor. In the first chapter the research method was explained. The second chapter details lice and works of Edward MacDowell. The third chapter includes structural analysis of Edward MacDowell's d mınor 2nd Piano Concerto. The aim of this study is to provide a resource to those who would like to study or learn an important concerto or piano literature bu strectial analyses of Edward MacDowell d mınor 2nd Piano Concerto. This study will contribute to the research field on Amerikan music and concertos.
