XIX. Yüzyılda Osmanlı Balkanlarında Depremler ve Afet Yönetimi
Özet
This thesis is concerned with eartquakes in the Balkan geography of the XIXth century. In course of the thesis, firstly the eartquakes which is occured XIXth century in Balkan region, was detected in Ottoman archive documents and they chronologise after that this documents was analysed in the way of damages, loses, crisis management in the Ottoman Empire, the manner of the central government and local authorities. Main subject of this study after the earthquakes the Ottoman Empire how to help disaster victims and disaster centers and to organized disaster management mechanism and whether this mechanism was working effectively.
