Orhan Veli Şiirinde Özne ve Varoluş Sorunsalı
Özet
Orhan Veli Kanık brought a modernist initiative to Turkish literature in the post- Republican periods. Being famous for changing the traditional poem perception, his poems have been studied by philosophical approach and psychoanalytical analysis method in order to understand the subject and existence problem. After an introduction about his biography, sense of art and works; in the first section the framework was determined for psychoanalytical analysis which has been conducted through metaphor usage in his poems. The boundaries for the term of poetic discourse were defined in the second section in order to determine existential problems in subject selection. In the research part, consciousness and unconscious characteristics of the poems were pointed out form the approaches of Hegel, Marx, Freud and Lacan. In the fourth section, dialectical method of Hegel, who was one of the founders of modern -thought, was applied to the poems with respect to human, nature and self-consciousness points. The reflections of truth, existence and freedom, and the incidence of master-slave dialectics were included in these poems. The second part was based on the Marxist criticism by using the sense of belonging and labor concepts in order to understand the perspective of the Orhan Veli poem for the individual in social terrain. Social class approaches, the struggles between classes, contingent labor and property view, social alienation to labor concepts of poems were discussed. In the fifth section, the effect of subconscious to the poems was investigated. The underlying causes of emotions were tried to be analyzed through metaphors. In the sixth section, the phases in the Lacan’s unconscious and reflections of metaphors in Orhan Veli poems were examined. Specifically, the metaphoric usage of subject who assumed to be aware (In Lacan’s terms), the mirror stage, the name of the father and the object of desire in poems contributed to reach a result in thesis, and the philosophical and psychological essentials of individual’s subject and existence problem was identified.
