The relationship between the individual and the city has come to the present day by entering into different forms since the time the human being was established. The cities, which are sometimes considered as places that only allow life, have continued to exist as venues that change and improve people at some time. Cities should not be considered as land fragments drawn. Especially in the changing and developing world, cities are highly effective on the individual with their spaces (houses, hotels, streets, streets, squares, stations etc.). In Turkish literature, especially after the 1950s, cities and spaces have been started to be seen with the recognition of different thought systems such as existentialism and modernism. In this study, city and person is discussed in the context of Demir Özlü's life and works. Özlü's life and works, which are one of the important names of the 1950 generation in Turkish story-writing, provide an efficient working area in terms of evaluating the perception of the city., The works of Demir Özlü are focused on the perception of individual centered cities and all the structures of the cities as a whole.
