Özet
The thesis is carried out conceptually and practically. Within the scope of the
thesis; the sub-concepts of “Schizo” arising from the dissociation of the
templates brought by the sharings in society, are examined in terms of
sociology, psychology and philosophy in an integrated approach and their
reflection on art is studied. Social memory loss, disidentification, aphasia,
cultural schizophrenia, alienation, gutted body, cynicism and deterritorialization
are examined within these sub-concepts and their role in art is examined.
In the first part of the thesis; first, these concepts and definitions take place;
therefore, the basis of the process in art is formed.
In the second part of the thesis; the functions these concepts are explicated on
the basis of art, and artists and their sample works take place to enrich the
subject. At this point, “Experimental Art ” is the desired point. The formation
process of experimental art will be expressed in the general scope of the thesis
by passing through these steps. The term “schizophrenism” is clarified in the
context of experimental art. The process of schizophrenism to art is followed
through works. The discussion on this concept is integrated with the production
process of my own work which strengthened the expression. Visuality is
presented in the foreground in works standing for experimental art in scope of
schizophrenism discussion.
