Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) are air vehicles without pilot and they are used in many areas like military and humanitarian operations. UAV’s provide lots of cost contributions because of their low cost, speed and no risk properties. Vehicle routing is very important issue for UAV’ performance improvement when the UAV’s perform their task.
This study aims to take attention to the use of UAV’s to the benefit of society. For this reason, UAV’s, their technical properties and literature studies about UAV’s vehicle routing was investigated. Then, it has been studied that vehicles carry health supplies to hard-to-reach villages and perform fire surveillance tasks in forested areas with perform two practices. In this practices, the effect of changing the characteristics of vehicles and their use on their performance was investigated with comparison of sample scenarios.
