Konjenital Tek Taraflı Işitme Kayıplı Çocuklarda Etiyolojik Faktörler ve Odyolojik Bulgular

The aim of the present study is to evaluate audiological, radiological and etiological clinical findings of the children and infants with congenital unilateral hearing loss. To this end, 29 children and infants diagnosed with congenital unilateral hearing loss by Hacettepe University Audiology Department, who are between 3-87 months old, were involved in the present study. Following the otologic evaluation of the cases, audiometric tests, tympanometric assessments, reflex measurements, otoacoustic emission tests and auditory brainstem response assessments were conducted. 55,2% of the cases involved in the present study are males, and 44,8% of the same are females. 65,5% of the cases (19) were diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss and 34,5% of the cases (10) were diagnosed with conductive hearing loss. None of the cases was diagnosed with congenital unilateral mixt type hearing loss. 63,2% of the cases with sensorineural hearing were diagnosed with profound hearing loss. 7 of the 10
