Özet
In this study, to understand the opinions of women who are victims of violence on marriage, family and gender roles, the opinions of women, who were served from a women's shelter and separated after receiving service from a women's shelter, were discussed about their violence, family, marriage and the future of their children. Qualitative research method was used in the research which used the phenomonological approach and semi-structured interview forms were conducted with 11 women. 9 of the participants were women who continue to receive women's shelters. Two women who had left the shelter were interviewed for the agreement of women after their shelter.
At the end of the study, it has been observed that women who are exposed to violence have an insecure point of view and this insecurity is reflected on their lives and their children's lives and even their worries about their children's marriage life in the future. Another important result reached in the study is that, despite the return of the wife to the spouse who has been subjected to violence, divorce and independent life can be sustained. For this reason, it is seen that the counseling and support process for the women's shelter is very important.
