Tipik Gelişen ve Otizm Spektrum Bozukluğu Olan Çocukların Yeme Davranışları ve Ebeveynlerin Yemek Zamanı Tutumlarının Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Aim of this study is analysing of the relation between the eating habit of the children who has autism spectrum disorder and children with typical development and the eating habit of these children parents also their behavior to their children while meal time. Besides scope of the research validity and relaibility of the Brief Assessment of Mealtime Behavior in Children (ÇOYED) studies has performed. As different sample group 180 children with 3-5 ages and their parents from eight central district of Ankara participated for evaluating dedicated aim of the study. Personel Information Form, Children’s Eating Behavior Questionnaire (ÇYDA), Brief Assessment of Mealtime Behavior in Children (ÇOYED), Parental Meal Time Action Scale (EYZD) used for indicate the children’s eating habit, parent’s their own eating habits and their behiavors to their children while eating time. Analyses has completed with the informations gathered from parents by compliant test methods. Regarding to results; children who has autism spectrum disorder, devastating behaviors and eating reject are more direct proportion of decreasing of the children’s age at eating times. Children eating habits do not change due to gender. Chidren who has autism spectrum disorder with siblings; provide child enjoy the meal. Insisting on eating by parents and giving an award to children for eating beahiavors are related with children’s eating problems. Eating all together as family, children’s raw food, any sensitiveness for odor/texture/color for foods, not using TV, mobile phones, tablets and toys at eating time are increase children’s attention to meal contrary behiavors cause negative behiavors to food for children. Research findings has discussed support of the literature.
