Demir (Iıı) Uzaklaktırılması İçin İyon Baskılanmış Poli(Hema-Maga) Oral Şelatörler
Özet
Metals are known to play an important role in biological events. In addition to classifying some elements as essential elements for life, these elements exhibit negative symptoms in biological events when they reach a certain concentration. For example, frequent and continuous blood transfusion in the treatment of a genetic disorder, thalassemia, causes extra iron accumulation in the body. Iron accumulates in the body; liver disorder, depression, heart attack, diabetes and is known to cause problems.
In this study, PHEMAGA oral chelators were prepared from Fe (lll) ions with thrombin ions in order to remove iron from the stomach of patients suffering from hemorrhea, hemochromatosis patients. For this purpose, after the N-methacryloyl- (L) -glutamic acid was selected as monomer, MAGA-Fe (III) complex was formed and Fe (III) ions suppressed PHEMAGA nanoparticles were synthesized using 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) and miniemulsion polymerization.
Prepared Fe (III) ions suppressed nanoparticles; For surface analysis measurements, surface character measurements were performed using Brunauer Emmet Wires (BET) method, Fourier Transformed Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) for the structure analysis of the molecule, and SEM scanning electron microscopy and EDX analysis for surface morphology.
After characterization studies, pH, initial concentration, temperature, time parameters of Fe (III) ions suppressed nanoparticles were determined in order to determine maximum adsorption conditions in aqueous solutions. Selectivity assays were performed with Zn (II) and Cr (III) competitor ions to determine the selectivity of Fe (III) ions suppressed nanoparticles. Lastly, removal studies of iron ions from the media were carried out based on the conditions of adsorption and artificial gastric fluid obtained by preparing artificial gastric fluid.
