This study was planned and conducted to determine the demographic characteristics of female entrepreneurs, to examine the business and life satisfaction of female entrepreneurs according to demographic variables and to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and life satisfaction.
The research was conducted with 167 female entrepreneurs who were members of the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The questionnaire used in the research was prepared by the researcher using approaches and theories related to the related literature search. The first two sections of the questionnaire, which is composed of four sections, are aimed at determining the demographic-descriptive characteristics of women entrepreneurs and the information about their business life. The third part of the questionnaire contains the questions of job satisfaction of women entrepreneurs and the final part of the questionnaire is prepared to determine the life satisfaction of women entrepreneurs. The validity of the questions to determine job and life satisfaction were tested for reliability and factor analysis was applied. The "Kruskal Wallis-H" test was used to determine whether job and life satisfaction scores varied according to demographic characteristics, and the "Mann Whitney U" test was used to determine the source of differences. "Pearson Correlation Analysis" was used to determine the relationship between job and life satisfaction.
The results of the analysis show that women entrepreneurs; there was job satisfaction and life satisfaction scores are high, there is a significant relationship between job satisfaction and income, the sector in which it operates(p <0.05), there was a significant relationship between life satisfaction, being a homeowner, being a vehicle owner(p <0.05), it was determined that there was a significant relationship between job and life satisfaction of women entrepreneurs (r = 0.64, p = 0.00 <0.01).
Various proposals have been presented to relevant institutions and organizations in the direction of the findings obtained without working and to researchers who will work on this topic in the future.
