Özet
In this thesis study, it is aimed to examine the point of view of the women through the unpleasant incidents, the sexist approaches and the illegal practices that lived in the public houses of the Early Republican Period of Turkey. The effects of the social reflections of the political revolution on women are addressed through events that have been experienced in the people's houses and reflected in complaint petitions. The example of the question of the existence of a Turkish woman who is trapped between the 'traditional woman' figure rooted in the minds of the 'modern woman' figure that the Republican regime requires is expected to change at an incredible rate. In this thesis, during the Early Republican Period, it is desired to show the differences between the place of the Turkish woman in the society which is desired and actually.
