Bilgisayar Destekli Tasarım ve Üretim (Cad/Cam) ile Üç Farklı Materyalden Üretilen Tek Kronların Klinik Performansı: Bir Yıllık Başlangıç Sonuçlarının Değerlendirilmesi
Özet
DENİZ, D. Clinical Performance of Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) Single Crowns Made from Three Different Materials with One Year Preliminary Results. Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Thesis in Prosthodontics, Ankara, 2018. With the development of Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided manufactoring (CAD / CAM) systems, all ceramic restorations have been used with high sucsess rates during the past 30 years in order to eliminate the disadvantages of metal ceramic restorations. Based on these developments, in every passing days new ceramic materials has been added to dental market. The purpose of this clinical study was to evaluate one year preliminary results CAD/CAM fabricated posterior single-tooth monolithic restorations made from three different materials. For this purpose, following the approval of Hacettepe University Clinical Studies Ethics Committe, 36 teeth in 27 participant who required a crown for second premolar and/or first molar randomly assigned to 1 of 3 groups: zirconium reinforced glass ceramic (ZRGC-Vita Suprinity), lithium disilicate glass ceramic (LGC-IPS e.max CAD) and resin infiltrated glass ceramic (RIGC-Vita Enamic). After the restorations were produced by the same CAD/CAM system with indirect technique, they were cemented with resin cement. Each restoration was clinically evaluated at baseline, 6 and 12 months using modified the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) Criteria for prosthetic evaluation and periodontal parameters were also evaluated. The survival rate at the end of the follow up period was 100%. There is no statistically significant difference in periodontal parameters among materials in all periods. Although there is a statistically significant difference in surface texture and color match for RIGC at 0-1 year interval, all 3 materials can be used in clinically acceptable performance.
Key Words: Lithium disilicate glass ceramics (LGC), zirconium reinforced glass ceramics (ZRGC), resin infiltrated glass ceramic (RIGC) and monolithic single tooth restoration.
