IQ-BIKE: Çevreci, Sağlıklı, Enerji Maliyeti Düşük, Paralel Hibrit, Yenilikçi Bir Şehir İçi Ulaşım Aracı
Özet
Due to the increase in the world-wide rate of obesity and the workforce that urbanization brings, people don’t move enough and the sporting activities are minimized. Bicycling is not preferred by many because it is a more tiring activity than motorized transportation. From this point of view, an innovative electric assisted parallel hybrid bike (IQ-Bike) that prevents the cyclist from being excessively tired or using light effort during riding, along with adjusting the rate of support given by instantly monitoring state of charge of battery, thus supporting the cyclist for a longer range has been developed within the scope of this thesis study. The fuzzy logic controller is used to adjust the support ratio and/or to lighten or harden the driving conditions by changing the transmission rate in IQ-Bike.
The IQ-Bike tries to keep the biker's heart rate in a desired range by deciding on the bike's pulse rate, road pitch, pedal power, braking status and state of charge of battery parameters in order to increase or decrease support rate and transmission ratio. while at the same time promoting sport on ideal conditions.
Examining the test results, it is seen that IQ-Bike could keep biker’s average heart rate level close to or within the desired range in accordance with the purpose of development.
