Boşanmanın Lise Öğrencileri Üzerindeki Etkisinin Okul Sosyal Hizmeti Bakış Açısıyla İncelenmesi:Sincan İlçesi Örneği

In this study, in total 208 high school students that attends the high schools in Ankara Sincan District who have married, or divorced parents have been evaluated by their peer relationships, self-esteem and academic achievements. Family and disintegration of family; divorce and effects, peer relations, self-esteem, and post-divorce school adjustment and school social services headings have been included in the study. The data of the quantitative research have been obtained via forms which includes; personal information forms containing questions about social support besides demographic information, year-end and academic information form for obtaining TEOG exam information, Peer Relationship Scale and Self-Esteem Scales. The obtained data has been analyzed by Reliability Analysis Correlation, Factor Analysis, Frequency test techniques and IBM SPSS 21 package program. At the end of the research, high school students of divorced families; when considering the status of living with a parent; according to gender, male students living in the same household with their mothers and male students living in the same household with their father have been found to be significantly different in their self-esteem. In addition, it has been seen that in the relation of attachment to their peers according to gender, in the "self-disclosure" sub-dimension scores and in the "loyalty" sub-dimension scores of high school students whose parents divorced are different. The conclusions and recommendations regarding the support that school social service can provide for the problems that they face in the school and education system of students whose parents have divorced have been included to the study. It has been aimed to contribute the school social service field and literature by the research. Problems students may encounter due to changes in family life and the role of school social service in coping with their problems have been focused.
