A monologue is a field in which person achieve communication with himself, we
have been questioning in our own existence most deeply, with which we are
confronted with our own reality. Because of this structure, it began to be used
as a technique of describing inner life in literary works by writers who wanted to
deepen their soul analyzes in literature. Authors such as Euripides,
Shakespeare, Dostoyevsky, James Joyce, Sartre, Oguz Atay Yusuf Atılgan,
Atiq Rahimi, etc. used to present the monologue technique of the mysterious
inner world as effectively and strikingly as possible. The monologue technique
allows direct expression of death, loneliness, internal accountability, conscience
and other problems that reveals the pain they experience in the existence of
person. In the fine arts there are artists who are turned their inner life into a
work of art emerged from the similar concerns of existence. Rembrandt, Kathe
Kolwitz, Frida Kahlo, Nan Goldin, Sofie Calle and Elina Brotherus who are
among the artists that they reflect all the existential questions about their lives in
their work in a sincere way. What is the expression of common feelings that
timeless and spaceless to be reflected here. This thesis named Monologue
Experiments have been prepared on the basis of the monologue which was
used as the technique of presenting the inner life in literature and the inner life
of man and the existential problems the concreteness of the calculations in
literature, cinema and visual arts are examined. At the same time how
monologue reveals an experiments in personal works with composed of
pictures and photographs and the important factors in selecting the topic are
analyzed.
