This thesis titled "Plastic Solutions on Technological Waste" examines the relationship between technological waste and the environment and the individual, both theoretically and practically.
The historical development of technology and the physical and psychological impact of technology on society and individual life are emphasized. Especially when working with a universal change from the Industrial Revolution and from a centralized viewpoint of the causes that have caused this change, the factories, production plants and the wastes and their effects created by these plants are frequently included in the result relation.
In the application part of the dissertation, industrial spaces were preferred and individuals were placed in these spaces. It is aimed to describe the works applied with metal, wood, serigraphy and digital printing techniques and to express the desired subject in the best way.
This study, called Plastic Solutions on Technological Waste, has been in four parts.
In the first chapter, the concepts of technology and waste, the historical process of technological development and the changes in human life are interpreted.
In the second chapter, with the Industrial Revolution, the effects of technology on the environment and the individual have been investigated. It has been tried to be expressed by examples how the applications are organized. In the third chapter, the artists who were interested in technological waste and its effects on human relations and related factors were researched and examples were presented. In the fourth chapter, it is explained how technological waste and its effects are shaped and expressed in the causal relation.
