The aim of this study is to investigate whether the mediating effect of work engagement between work load and work-family conflict contingent upon the levels of organizational support. The data are gathered via survey from 358 sales representatives working in different shopping malls of Ankara. The research hypothesis of the study is tested by moderated mediation analysis using Process macro of SPSS (Hayes, 2013). Findings revealed that the mediating effect of work engagement between work load and work-family conflict is contingent upon the levels of organizational support. That is, work engagement acts as a mediating factor between work load and work-family conflict relationship, only when perceived organizational support is high. Accordingly, as employees’ perceptions of organizational support increase, the increasing role of the perceived work load on work-family conflict is decreased by the mediating role of work engagement.
