This thesis contains design, production and measurements of dual bant microstrip GPS
antennas. GPS antenna is designed which works L1 and L2 bands by used stacked structure
microstrip antennas. The dual band circular polarization is achieved by corner truncation
method. During the design process, the effects of antenna parameters on the input impedance
and axial ratio characteristics are investigated step by step. First, antenna designs are
investigated which individually radiation for each bands. Then, in stacked structure, antenna
design is studied on L1 and L2 bands resonance at the same time with coaxial feeding
technique and each bands have circular polarization by corner truncation method. The
desired structure is analyzed by electromagnetic solver tool HFSS. Information about the
design parameters are acquired by parametric analyses on HFSS. Designed anttennas are
fabricated and measured. The measurement results of the fabricated antennas and simulation
results are presented and compared with simulations.
