Fonksiyonel Aktivitelerde Üst Ekstremite Hareket Yörüngelerinin Belirlenmesi
Abstract
This study was planned to i) determine the functional range of motion in head-neck, trunk, and upper extremities in the most frequently used functional activities of daily living in healthy individuals, ii) examine to distinctive kinematic properties of unilateral, bilateral and bimanual movements, iii) Examine to control strategies related to data of speed and acceleration, iv) determine the completion durations of the activities, v) investigate the trajectories variability of the activities and vi) determine the potential contribution to neurological and technology-assisted rehabilitation of kinematic analysis of normal activities. 46 healthy individuals (24 female and 22 male) whose mean age of 25.74 ± 4.18 were included in the study. Participants' demographic data, shoulder and hip widths, flare and lower extremity lengths were recorded by measuring with a tape measure. XSens MVN BIOMECH Awinda IMU sensors were used for kinematic analysis of daily living activities and kinematic data of C7T1, L1T12, L5S1, bilateral shoulder, elbow and wrist joints were recorded. Measurements were repeated 3 times for each participants in the same conditions. According to results of this study; kinematic indicators of normal motion and function in healthy individuals were defined comparably to individuals with activity limitation. The trunk and head at least the speed and range of motion, the shoulder was found the most speed in all movement in the touching middle point of the head activity. Right wrist joint has the maximum flexion-extension range of motion in the jacket hanging activity. Right elbow joint has maximum pronation-supination and flexion-extension range of motion in the eating activity. C7-T1 joint has maximum rotation, lateral flexion and flexion-extension range of motion in the put wallet to back pocket of trousers activity.
