İkdam Gazetesinde Yazınsal Hareketlilik (1894-1913)
Özet
This thesis, titled " Literary Circulation in the İkdam Newspaper (1894-1913)", aimed to reveal the contribution and effect of literary texts published in the İkdam newspaper during the mentioned years on Turkish literature. For this purpose, poems, stories, novels, travels, letters and biographies in the newspaper are evaluated and classified in terms of quality and quantity. The thesis is composed of six chapters, apart from the Introduction, which summarizes Ottoman-Turkish journalism up to İkdam, and the Conclusion section which lists the obtained data. In each chapter, a literary genre was handled, and after giving general information about the appearance of the newspaper samples, the texts were tabled. As a result of the examination, it was determined that the texts published in İkdam newspaper between 1894 and 1913 were not parallel with the prevailing literary in the period, the examples of fiction were popular literature examples, and the biographical texts were used for news and information transfer.
