Amps-1d Programı Kullanılarak Güneş Gözelerinin Bilgisayar Modellemesi
Abstract
In this study, hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) single junction solar cell computer modeling has been performed by using AMPS-1D software which provided by Pennsylvania State University. In this thesis, the structure of solar cells have been considered as the same structure of the experimental ones prepared at ENEA-Portici/Italy research center. Electrical and optical properties of solar cells which have different layers have been investigated, relation between external parameters (short circuit current density, open circuit voltage, fill factor, efficiency) and internal parameters which can not be measured by experiments such as band diagram, electrical field profile and recombination rate have been tested. Our findings show that in order to realize further efficiency improvement, graded buffer layer at p+/i interface of single cells is an option, but band gap, thickness and doping concentration and gap states are critical parameters. Thickness of intrinsic layer affects efficiency, by recuding thickness, more stable cells can been achieved.
