Obstetrik Brakiyal Pleksus Yaralanması Olan Hastalarda Süpinatoplasti Girişimlerinin Retrospektif Değerlendirilmesi

Patientswithobstetricbrachial plexuspalsy(OBPP)havevariousdeformities,isencounteredaccordingto theaffectednerve area.Pronationcontracturesalsoemergeasalimitationthatcausesphysicalandemotional problemsinthisgroupof patients.However,intheliterature,managementofbrachialplexus patientshavingpronationcontractureislimited.Thedataforthepronationcontracturebelongs mainlytostudiesperformedinpatientswithcerebralpalsy(CP).Duetothelackofcomparative studiesonthissubject,therearesomelimitationsinthealgorithms.The primarypurposeofthis studywastodeterminethecontributionofPTre-routingandFCU-ERCBtransfersforsupination inOBPPpatientshavingpronationcontractureandtocomparetheresultsofsurgerywithTurkish versionofSF-36andDASHscoringsurveys.Ontheotherhand,radiographicevaluationofthe radialhead fordislocationandsubluxationwasevaluatedasasecondaryaim.Inthe study,itwas observedthatinthePTreroutinggroupgainedmoresupinationthantheFCU-ERCBgroup.(p= 0.028).Apartfromthese,bothpatientgroupswerefoundtohaveemotionalandphysicalrole limitations,whichwerefoundto beassociatedwiththeNarakasgrade.However,nostatistical differencewasfoundinthestudygroups.Nosignificantdifferencewasfoundinradialhead dislocationandsubluxationinbothgroupsofsurgery. Inconclusion,thisstudysuggeststhatPT re-routingpatientscanachievemorepro-supinationthanFCU-ERCBtransfer.
