The aim of this research paper is to analyze the tools and methods used by the OSCE in conflict prevention and resolution. The OSCE is a regional security organization that harbors the idea of cooperation and dialogue among partner countries that is not encountered in the same conditions in a military alliance. The crisis in Ukraine fostered the importance of the OSCE in the region, and its role in conflict resolution may be crucial in other scenarios. The resolution of the conflict in Ukraine is critical for the peace and security in Europe and for the economic relations in the neighborhood. However, the case study of Ukraine’s conflict is used in an instrumental way to investigate a broader phenomenon, that is, the effectiveness of the OSCE’s tools and methods in conflict resolution.tr_TR
