Kurum Bakımı Altındaki Çocukların Yaşam Alanlarının Ev Kazaları, Mobilya ve Donatı Elemanları İlişkisi Açısından Değerlendirilmesi: Ankara Çocuk Evleri Örneği
Özet
The subject of the present study is children’s houses which are among the institutional services of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy and the connection between the home accidents the children, aged between 0-6 residing in these houses, have and furniture and accessory equipments. Although the results of accidents usually concern health services, accidents and the factors that cause them stand out as a title that should be examined not only in the field of medicine but also in areas where design is important, such as architecture, interior architecture and industrial product design. In this respect, home accidents which are prominent in terms of frequency of occurrence among all types of accidents are considered as a subject to be investigated in relation to the causes and results of accidents.
This research, consists of five parts. In the first chapter; focused on aim and importance of the study, than method which will be followed in the scope of the study explained. In the second chapter; The concept of child needing protection and institutional care methods provided for these children. In the third chapter; Definition of accident and the factors causing the accident are explained, and the home accidents and the types of accidents covered in the research are examined. In the fourth chapter; In the scope of the study, the information about the determination of the research group, data collection and analysis of the interviews conducted to determine the house accidents was given and the obtained interview data is presented. In the conclusion section; A design proposal for preventing house accidents in children's homes was presented. The proposal is explained by visuals and the data obtained to prevent house accidents in children's houses are presented.
