The increasing need for information sharing ever since ever since people
existed and the efforts of communication / information designers to provide
more effective communication in this context has made the interaction with
various scientific fields inevitable. Therefore, information graphics that have
gained more importance in recent years have enabled the users to select the
information they need with the scientific fields in interaction and to reach these
information faster and more efficiently. Since the health field has a more vital
prescription for human life in terms of information, this thesis study has been
chosen as a subject to examine the informatics graphs used in the health sector
in terms of visual indicators and to make applications on this field.
In the first part of the study, the concepts of "information / informing" and
"information graphic" are covered and the information, principles, types and
application areas of information graphics, history of development process and
importance of informative graphics are explained. In the second part, the place
and importance of informatics graphics in health sector; Examples in Turkey
and in the World are examined. In the third chapter, the concept of "visual
metrology" is discussed and examples of information graphics used in the
health sector are investigated with "semantic, imperialist and pragmatic"
approaches that are utilized in visual metrology analysis.
In the fourth and last section, which deals with the application of the study, the
findings of the thesis and the opinions of field experts, The examples in the field
of physiotherapy and rehabilitation determined by the thesis advisor were
discussed and the practices realized in this field were discussed.
Three of the sports injuries in physiotherapy and rehabilitation areas were
chosen. These; "Anterior cruciate ligament injuries", "tennis elbow injuries" and
"thigh muscle injuries". Information graphics for these areas are designed;

Brochures designed for the exercises recommended for the treatment of these
injuries are designed.
