BİYOPOLİMERİK NANOPARTİKÜLLERİN SENTEZİ İÇİN YENİ BİR MİKROAKIŞKAN CİHAZIN TASARIMI VE ÜRETİMİ
Özet
Nano structures -with the increasing number of scientific research in the area-are capable of major changes in our life. However, the game chancing properties of nano structures mostly are not repeatable. Moreover, it is not possible to produce the amount of nanoparticles necessary for the industrial world. Repeatable methods, which does not require highly trained personnel, for industrial scale production should be developed to transfer the academic research to the use of people.
For this purpose, various successful microfluidics device have been designed for microstructures synthesis. On the other hand, synthesis of nano structure is not an enlightened area and there is a need for research to reach a better state.
Especially, the development and design of microfluidics devices for biopolymeric nanoparticles are very important, because, these biopolymeric nanoparticles have use in both nanotechnology and nanomedicine. For this reason, in this thesis a microdludics device have been modeled, designed and manufactured for specially chitosan but generally for all biopolymeric nanoparticles.
In this study, best designs have been chosen with the light of the proper rheological values, microfluidics properties, and biopolymer's properties. The chosen designs have been manufactured by machining and 3D printing with Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) derivative materials.
