Gelişimsel Düzenleme Modelleri Çerçevesinde Beliren Yetişkinlerde Gelişimsel Hedefler Ve Iyilik Halinin Incelenmesi

The main aim of this research is to investigate emerging adulthood from the goal-setting perspective in the frame of developmental regulation models and to evaluate the relations between proposed processes and individuals’ well-being through the synthesis of these models. The study sample consists of 396 participants aged between 18-30 and graduated from high school or above. The participants were administered a battery that consists of scales developed in the frame of Developmental Regulation Models along with Views of Life Survey, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Satisfaction with Life Scale, Loneliness Scale and Brief Symptom Inventory. Questions addressed participants’ life goals and their appraisals of these goals were also included. Both future and past goals were assessed.Qualitative data analysis indicated that emerging adults’ future goals were mostly related with occupation, education and family and their past goals were frequently related with education and occupation. In t
