Abstract

The aim of this thesis study is to estimate the boron resource in the field located in Dereköy-Şeyhler location in Hisarcık district of Kütahya province, belonging to Eti Maden Enterprises. In this regard, drilling reports and geological reports made in the field were examined, compiled and a database was created. The solid model representing geological continuity was created by considering the boron cut-off grade and ore formations. Afterwards, experimental and model variogram analyzes were made for the boron values to be estimated in horizontal and vertical directions. A block model representing the solid model was created and the blocks were estimated by the ordinary kriging method. Then, trend analysis graphs were created to verify the predictions. As a result, a resource estimation was made using a certain cut-off grade. By obtaining the grade tonnage curve of the source model, the potential for tonnage change depending on grade in the current region has been revealed.
