Cities that have been a direct witness to all developments regarding "mankind" and humanity since the time they were defined, and are observed to change day by day as they take their share of these developments; most of the time, they get caught up in the magic of this change and fall into the trap of becoming the same by following what is popular, thus turning into a structure that needs to be emphasized and reminded that each is unique in its own way. These processes, which bring to the agenda the distinctiveness of cities and the concept of identity in this context, bring to the agenda the importance of urban identity and bring together these campuses, which are strong communication and interaction environments, and their identities with graphic design applications, which are indispensable indicators of visual communication and these encounters bring to the agenda the visual examination of urban identity, which is examined in quite complex dimensions.
The value and importance of information and wayfinding graphics is an undeniable fact, both in terms of introducing, adopting and ensuring the continuity of the determined identity throughout the city, and in providing the opportunity to define, plan, organize and analyze a very crowded and complex structure such as a city.

In the application design of the study, which was carried out with descriptive methods in the context of the qualitative approach; application studies were carried out for the prominent museums of Ankara with the aim of defining the urban identity problem by presenting rich content related to the subject in the context of Ankara's deep-rooted historical and cultural identity and providing effective and diverse opportunities in terms of information and wayfinding graphics. In the application study carried out with the name and visual identity of "Müzem Ankara"; interactive map suggestions supported by web technologies were also presented with the aim of responding to both information and wayfinding needs.
