Clarinet performer in Turkey has been in existence since the early 19th century. Turkish Music study process; The performances of Şükrü Tunar (1907-1962) and later Mustafa Kandıral (1930-…), who was a popular performer who started with Clarinet İbrahim Efendi and became popular with radio, took the following form. The performances of Şükrü Tunar, who is considered to be an important representative of the aforementioned performance style and local performance from the past to the present, are information about the history of the Turkish Music clarinet instrument, the history of the clarinet instrument, the place of the clarinet instrument in Turkish music. In addition, information was given about subjects such as the life of Şükrü Tunar, his performance, and his difference from the clarinet performers before and after him. In the later stages of the study, the varieties of taksim form and the forms used in Turkish Music are explained. Known taksims of Şükrü Tunar were taken into consideration by listening to the records and modal analysis of the taksims was made. It has been examined whether the characteristics of makams in the Taksim coincide with the Turkish Music Theory system.
