Fazıl Say’ın “3 Ballades For Piano (Op. 12)” Eserinden “Kumru” Baladının Gitara Transkripsiyonu
Özet
The basis of this research is to examine the feasibility of transcribing the ballad ‘Kumru’, composed by Fazıl Say in his “3 Ballades for Piano / Opus 12”, from piano to guitar so that it can be performed on guitar.
In the ‘Introduction’ section, brief information is given about the guitar transcription. In chapter 1, the life of the composer of the work to be analysed, the definition of the "ballad" genre and detailed information about transcription are given, and what should be considered while transcribing is mentioned to give direction to the findings. The methods used in the research are explained in the chapter 2. In the 3rd Chapter “findings” section, the transcription of the piece for guitar is analysed comparatively with the original score. Still, in the findings section, alternative suggestions are presented for the problems that have emerged. In the “result” section, the summary of the findings is made in order to summarize the results of the findings and to give recommendations about the topic.
