Dijitalleşmenin Meslek Üzerindeki Etkisi: Diyetisyenler Örneği
Özet
This research aims to understand how the digitalization process is experienced in professional and working life and how the dietitian profession and working conditions have been transformed in this process. The role of digital tools and digital platforms in the professional and working lives of dietitians was investigated. Qualitative research method was used in the study and in-depth interviews were conducted with 23 dietitians who actively use digital tools and digital platforms in their professional and working lives, accompanied by a semi-structured questionnaire. In the research using MAXQDA 2024 analysis program, the data were analyzed using thematic analysis technique. The theoretical framework of the research was built using the theoretical and conceptual framework of digital sociology. As a result of the research, two main themes were reached. In the theme of the construction of professional identity and digitalization process, it was seen that digital tools and digital platforms play an important role in the construction of the dietitian profession and professional identity, and that the acquisition and maintenance of digital skills in professional life leads to advantages in the job market. In the theme of digitalization of working conditions, it was concluded that digitalization transforms the working conditions of dietitians; digital labor, emotional labor processes are experienced in working life and the labor process is digitalized. Within the framework of the themes reached in the research, it was concluded that digital tools and digital platforms.
