Hastanelerde Çalışan ve Yönetici Bakış Açısıyla Görev Temelli ve Değer Temelli Performans Ölçümünün Çalışan Bağlılığı ve Ödüllendirme Üzerindeki Etkisi

In the twentieth century, as a reflection of the management by objectives approach, performance measurement was more productive and control-oriented, whereas in the twenty-first century, a new approach to performance measurement has been adopted that allows employees to be measured both in terms of whether they have achieved personal and organisational goals and fulfilled their job responsibilities (task-based) and their ethical values (values-based). The aim of this study was to assess the task-based and values-based performance of healthcare employees according to different variables. The data of this study, in which 498 healthcare professionals working in three different owned healthcare organisations were included in the sample, were collected through the Values and Task-Based Performance Evaluation Questionnaire. The questionnaire includes questions to measure individual and organisational variables, values-based performance variable, task-based performance variable, employee commitment variable and employee rewarding variable. Data collection took place in two stages. In the first stage, all employees in the sample completed the questionnaire on their own behalf. In the second stage, the managers of the same employees rated the performance of their employees. As a result of the data analysis, it was found that values-based and task-based performance differed according to tenure and hospital ownership (p<0.05). It was found that values-based and task-based employee performance significantly and positively influenced employee commitment and rewarding (p<0.05). Based on the findings of the study, it is believed that task-based and values-based performance can also be used as a performance evaluation method for healthcare employees. It can be stated that it will be possible to reach more comprehensive performance values at micro and meso level by performing task-based and values-based performance evaluation both in healthcare organisations and in other sectors.
