Özet
Evaulation of The Reliability of Computer and Artificial Intelligence Based Cephalometric Drawing Programs In Orthognatic Surgical Treatment Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics, Specialty Thesis, Ankara, 2023. Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the reliability of the WebCeph program, which is an artificial intelligence-based cephalometric drawing program, before and after operation in patients undergoing orthognathic surgery, by using Dolphın Imaging program, which is an computer-based cephalometric drawing program. Individuals and Methods: Fifty patients (23 males, 27 females) with a mean age of 22,760±3,041 who underwent orthognathic surgery were included in the study. Lateral cephalometric radiographs taken 1 month before and 1 month after orthognathic surgery operation of 50 patients included in the study were evaluated using the artificial intelligence-based cephalometric drawing program WebCeph and the computer-based cephalometric drawing program Dolphin Imaging. In order to evaluate the methods in the study, a total of 29 parameters, 15 of which are angular and 14 of which are linear, were selected. Result: Methods before orthognatjic surgery include Aricular Angle (°), Gonial Angle (°), Björk Sum (°), Y Axis Angle (°), U1-SN (°), U1-NA (°), L1-NB (°), IMPA (°), Nasolabial Angle (°), A-Nperp(FH) (mm) (°), Pog-Nperp(FH) (mm), Upper Lip- E Plane Distace (mm) parameters statistically significant between methods difference detected. Methods after orthognathic surgery include Articuler Angle (°), Gonial Angle (°), Björk Sum (°), FMA (°), Y Axis Angle (°), Facial Depth (°), U1-SN Angle (°), U1-NA Angle (°), L1-NB Angle (°), IMPA (°), Nasolabial Angle (°), Facial Convexisy (mm), A-Nperp (FH) (mm), Pog-Nperp (FH) (mm), U1-NA Distane (mm), Upper Lip-E Plane Distance (mm) parameters were statistically significantly different between the methods. Conclusion: Although artificial intelligence-based cephalometric drawing programs have been developed to standardize the researcher-induced measurement difference, the intervention of the researcher is needed in order to be used in routine orthodontic practice.
