| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to evaluate the presentation techniques courses included in the curricula of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design/Interior Architecture departments at various universities in Turkey, which fall within the scope of this study. It also aims to propose an approach to presentation techniques in addition to the current course contents based on discussions with course instructors.
Presentation techniques are indispensable in both the educational and professional performance processes of the interior architecture profession. The manner in which the act of "presenting" serves us with various techniques from the developmental stage to the finalization stage of a project can vary depending on the subject matter.
The study comprises five main sections. The first section constructs the historical development of the interior architecture profession from past to present and its evolution in Turkey. The second section investigates the development of interior architecture education globally and in Turkey through various schools of thought. The third section, which is the main focus of this study, explores the position of presentation techniques courses within the scope and shares the information gathered.
The fourth section encompasses the field study conducted on the presentation techniques courses conveyed in the third section. In this study, in-depth interviews were chosen as the data collection method. The participants, or the sample, were determined using the criterion sampling method, which is one of the purposive sampling methods commonly used in qualitative research. Face-to-face and/or online interviews were analyzed in this section.
The fifth and final section of the study, the conclusion and recommendations, attempts to illustrate the proposed course with examples from the study and aims to contribute to the course content by offering a different perspective on presentation techniques and evaluation.

| dc.description.ozet | Bu araştırma, Türkiye’de bulunan ve bu çalışmanın kapsamına dahil olan üniversitelerin, İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı/İç Mimarlık bölümleri eğitim müfredatlarında çeşitli statü ve adlar altında yer almakta olan sunum teknikleri derslerini değerlendirerek; ders yürütücüleri ile yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda mevcut ders içeriklerine ek olarak bir öneride bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır.
Sunum teknikleri iç mimarlık mesleğinin gerek eğitim gerek mesleki performansı sürecinde vazgeçilmezi niteliğindedir. Sunulacak olan projenin gelişim aşamasından finalize edilme aşamasına kadar olan süreçte bize çeşitli tekniklerle hizmet eden “sunma” eylemi konusuna göre ifade ediliş şeklinde de değişiklikler gösterebilmektedir.
Çalışma beş ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde İç Mimarlık mesleğinin geçmişten günümüze tarihi ve Türkiye'deki gelişim süreci kurgulanmıştır. İkinci bölümde İç Mimarlık eğitiminin dünya ve Türkiye üzerinden gelişim süreci araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın üçüncü bölümü olan ve bu çalışmanın ana konusu olan sunum teknikleri dersinin konumu kapsam dahilinde araştırılarak bilgileri paylaşılmıştır.
Dördüncü bölüm, üçüncü bölümde aktarılan sunum teknikleri dersleri ile ilgili yapılan alan çalışmasını içermektedir. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı derinlemesine görüşme olarak belirlenmiştir. Görüşme yapılacak olan katılımcılar yani örneklem, nitel araştırmalarda kullanılmakta olan amaçlı örneklem yöntemlerinden biri olan ölçüt örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Yüzyüze ve/veya çevrimiçi olarak yapılan görüşmeler bu bölümde analiz edilmiştir.
Çalışmanın beşinci ve son bölümü olan sonuç ve öneriler kısmında, yapılacak olan ders önerisi çalışma örnekleri ile anlatılmaya çalışılmış, sunum tekniklerine farklı bir bakış açısı ve değerlendirme sunarak ders içeriğine katkı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır.
