Abstract

The modern world, being major technological breaktrough turning into global village with the usage of internet. The concrete and non - concrete originalities of the societies have a privileged position to protect the differences in globalized world. The abstract and non - abstract cultural values of the sociesties are started to use an important tool for the improvement of the small - scale locals with the evidence of the cultural economy. It is possible to say that in cultural tourism which showed up as an alternative tourism variety againist consumerism and ordinariness of mass tourism, nations who evalute concrete and abstract values based on sustainability and practicality, obtain critical feedbacks in behalf of all - purpose progress. Nowadays, societies who evaluate creativeness that is in the foreground abstract cultural values in prospering policies obtain significant gainings in behalf of both protecting and transferring abstract cultural values and all - purpose progress. In this study, with reference to the review above, the concrete and abstract cultural values, cultural tourism and regional development of Ağlasun, a county of Burdur, has been analyzed. During this study, first and foremost, the cultural values of the county have been aimed to be detected. Later, the obtained informations effect on the development of the county has been aimed to be established.
