Dvorak's Op.95 mi minor 9th Symphony was analysed in various dimensions.
In the study, while suggestions for beat techniques for many parts of the work that are thought to be a problem for conductors, tempo and tempo change suggestions and style suggestions based on the characteristic structure of the work other than the tempos written by Dvorak are also included. It has been determined that different understandings of the terms and tempos written by Dvorak in the score have been traditionalised. In addition to dynamic suggestions, suggestions were made about the parts that should be studied in detail during rehearsals.
This is the most detailed study on Dvorak's 9th Symphony in Turkey. Technically, this research contains information that will enable a better understanding and analysis of the 9th Symphony, one of the most popular symphonies of the nationalist romantic movement, and thus bring a different perspective to the romantic symphony. It is thought that conductors and conductor candidates will conduct this work much more consciously and in detail in line with the issues enlightened by this thesis.
