Desmin ve Lamin B Etkileşiminin Zebra Balığında Araştırılması

Abstract

In this thesis the interaction between desmin, an intermediate filament protein located in cytoplasm and lamin B, intermediate filament protein of the nucleus was investigated using wild type AB zebrafish as a model organism. Within the scope of the thesis, proteins of interest were isolated from wild type AB zebrafish and a direct interaction was determined via co-immunoprecipitation. To confirm the results, proximity ligation assay was used in skeletal muscle sections of wild type AB zebrafish, and a direct interaction between desmin and lamin B was also shown in this technique.
