İç Mekan Tasarımında Kullanılan Malzemelerin Algısal Değerlendirmeleri Üzerine Yapılmış Çalışmaların Sistematik İncelemesi
Özet
The materials used in the space are a principal factor in the process of interacting with the space and the perceptual evaluation of the space. The perceptual values of materials in interior design must also be taken into consideration by designers. The studies to reach perceptual assessments of materials used interior is limited. This thesis study was conducted to access perceptual evaluation data of materials used interior. The thesis is based on three main cases.
‘Design of the Research’ section covers the problem, purpose, and limitations of the research. In the ‘Theoretical Framework’ section, the literature search data for perception, space, and material topics, which are the main facts of the research, are included.
In the thesis study, systematic review method was used to reach relevant results. The keywords of systematic review are ‘interior design, material, perception’. Keywords are searched in the ‘Scopus, Web of Science, Science Direct’ databases. The search criteria for the text are filtered as an article and the language is English. The final research was completed on 07.09.2022 and 126 studies are reached. The studies obtained from the databases, 36 were excluded because of the repetition. It has been checked whether the remaining 90 studies meet the eligibility criteria. The Studies that do not meet the criteria has been excluded from the systematic review, and 10 studies that meet the criteria have been included in the systematic review. The information about the functioning of the systematic review, the studies obtained from the databases, all the information about the selection processes of the studies are given in the ‘Materials and Methods’ section of the research.
In the ‘Findings’ section of the research, the data of the studies included in the systematic review was retrieved, analyzed, compared. The findings obtained were transferred through narrative and presented in tables. The assessment of the findings was completed the ‘Discussion’ section. The ‘Conclusion’ section has a general assessment of the thesis study and suggestions for future studies have been presented.
