Özet
Work life is an area where both vital problems arise and has its own problems. In addition to these problems, working life can be an area where problems may arise for worker women on the basis of gender inequality, that is, just because they are women. Along with the interaction of work life and family life, the problems of women become structural. In order to solve these problems, it is important to reveal the current situation.
In this context, the problem of the research is; It is the need to determine how women working in the field of production experience gender roles, the effects of gender experiences on work and family life, and women-specific experiences arising from work-family life interaction. The aim of this research is to provide a deep understanding of the work and social life experiences of married women working as production workers and how these experiences affect their gender roles. The phenomenological approach was used in this research, which was carried out with the qualitative research method. The participants of the study were determined by simultaneous case sampling and purposive sampling method. The research was conducted with married women between the ages of 18-65 working as workers in factories operating in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone. In the research, data was collected through semi-structured interviews prepared by the researcher, the obtained data were deciphered and analyzed with the MAXQDA Plus 2020 package program. Inductive thematic analysis technique was used. Research findings; It has been gathered under 3 main themes as “Experiences of Women Workers in Private Field”, “Working Life on the Basis of Changing Production Relations” and “Solution to Inequalities Encountered in Working Life: Social Work and Trade Union as Rights Protector”. It has been understood that the participants maintain their work and social lives on the basis of unequal gender relations. Despite the adoption of unpaid domestic labor and care work as the role of women in the private life practices of gender roles, the man's duty to manage the family budget comes to the fore. It has been revealed that gender inequalities in business life are effective in the recruitment process, promotion and promotion, and determining the amount of raise.
