Migration is one of the important agendas of the world. In many parts of the world, people have to migrate due to difficult conditions, which affects the development of individuals in various ways. In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the psychosocial development of Turkish-speaking youth aged 18-20 who migrated to Turkey due to the war, within the framework of Erikson's Psychosocial Development Theory, and to determine their relationship with various demographic variables. For this reason, the cross-sectional survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The sample of the research consisted of 287 young individuals aged 18-20 who migrated to Turkey from Syria (n=281), Iraq (n=4) and Afghanistan (n=2) due to the war, were in Turkey in 2021-2022, and knew Turkish. "Demographic Information Form" and "Erikson's Psychosocial Development Periods Scale" were used to collect data in the study. Independent sample t-test, one-factor analysis of variance (One-Way Anova) and Kruskal-Wallis Test were used to examine the relationships between variables and scale scores (taking into account the distribution characteristics of the variables). Overall, it was seen that the difference between the scale scores was not significant according to gender, length of stay in Turkey, mother's education level, father's education level, father's Turkish proficiency, and income level. However, it was concluded that the differences between the scale scores according to the education level of the participant, the mother's level of knowledge of Turkish, and the level of social relations with individuals from other nationalities were significant. Considering the results of the study, it can be recommended to carry out support, prevention and early intervention studies in educational, economic, social and cultural fields that will support the psychosocial development of young people who migrated due to war.
