Özet
Measurement process can be thought as comparison of a quantity whose magnitude is required to be known with the available reference magnitude of the same quantity. However, this available reference may diverge form its original accuracy as a result of time and usage. Therefore, measurement instruments must be compared with more reliable measurement instruments regularly and be assured of their accuracies. If there is a deviation at their accuracies, they must be adjusted and be compared once more. This process is called calibration.At this thesis study, software based calibration of high frequency test and measurement devices and uncertainty calculation of the acquired results are analyzed. The measurements of power and frequency, which are the main quantities the test and measurement devices analyzed at the thesis, are modelled, uncertainties of these measurements are determined and calculated.
