The digital technologies used in procurement and supply chain processes provide various benefits such as increasing the efficiency of processes, minimizing risks, and savings, and conducting transparent, reliable, and auditable processes. Despite these benefits, the attitude toward acceptance of the digital technologies may differ based on individuals’ risk perception and evaluations of the technology characteristics. This study aims to identify the factors affecting the acceptance of digital technologies in the industrial buying process with the use of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technology-Organization-Environment model (TOE). In this context, the effects of relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, perceived risk, and organizational competence variables on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use and the effects of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on attitude were investigated. The data gathered from the 134 participants working in the procurement departments of the companies that are operating in the aviation sector and actively using digital technologies in procurement processes. Structural Equation Modeling was conducted to test the hypotheses. According to the results, compatibility, relative advantage, and organizational competence have positive effects on perceived ease of use, while perceived ease of use and perceived benefit have positive effects on attitude. In addition, complexity has a negative effect on perceived ease of use and perceived benefit, while perceived risk has a negative effect on perceived ease of use and perceived benefit.
