Periyodik ve Kuazi-Periyodik Fotonik Kristallerde Yavaş Işık Analizi
Özet
In this study, in general, with special emphasis on quasi-crystalline materials, transmission properties and slow light studies of periodic and quasi-periodic photonic crystals are presented. By means of the symmetry properties of photonic crystals that emerges forbidden band gap during transmission of light, it provides controlling of light in certain frequencies. For this purpose, slow light phenomenon has been pursued by various studies over the years. In addition to the photonic crystal structures in slow-light researches, we explore slow light behavior of specially designed quasi or semi periodic crystal structures beacuse of having rotational symmetry. We emphasized these structures specifically due to their remarkable symetric properties noted that it had changed the definiton of crystal material in the science of crystallography after its exploration. We examine the design and analysis of novel photonic quasicrystal waveguides about their transport mechanisms of light.
