Eymir Gölü'nde Reaktif Azot Döngüsünün İncelenmesi
Özet
Nitrogen protoxide (N2O / Nitrous oxide) is released in the course of nitrogen cycle has a higher effect on global warming than carbon dioxide (CO2). One of the non-point sources of N2O, which is known for its low solubility in water, is eutrophic lakes and there are limited academic studies on this topic, therefore, it is an important field to investigate. In this thesis, physical structure and trophic level of the Lake Eymir is determined; distribution and cycle (hourly, seasonally and regional) of the reactive nitrogen compounds in Eymir lake was investigated.
Lake Eymir is a dimictic and hypereutrophic lake. Sediment grain size distributions indicate that the lake is acting like a plug-flow reactor.
