Kapsamlı Alt Ekstremite Ampute Soket Anketi'nin Türkçe'ye Uyarlanması, Geçerlik ve Güvenirliği
Özet
Kuzu C. Turkish adaptation, validity and reliability of the Comprehensive Lower-limb Amputee Socket Survey, Hacettepe University Graduate School of Health Sciences, Prosthetics - Orthotics and Biomechanics Program, Master Thesis Ankara, 2022. This study aimed to investigate the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the Comprehensive Lower-limb Amputee Socket Survey- CLASS. CLASS is a questionnaire that measures the fit of the prosthetic socket. With author’s permission the Turkish version of the questionnaire was created using intercultural adaptation methods. The Turkish version of CLASS was administered to 80 participants with unilateral lower extremity amputation twice with the retest method. In addition, the experiences of the participants on prosthesis use and satisfaction were recorded by using the Trinity Amputation and Prosthesis Experiences Scale, Prosthesis Satisfaction Questionnaire, Socket Comfort Score, which are valid and reliable measurement tools used in the literature. Demographic data were also collected, including data on the level of amputation, residual limb health, and duration of prosthesis use. The activity levels of the participants were recorded with the Amputee Mobility Scale-AMP and their quality of life was evaluated using the SF-36 short form. The test-retest data obtained and the scores were evaluated by Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, and a strong correlation was found between them (Cronbach's Alpha> 0.80). The internal consistency of the CLASS Turkish version was found to be high (Cronbach's Alpha> 0.80) and no change was observed in the level of consistency when one of the items was removed from the questionnaire. Significant correlations were demonstrated at various levels between the CLASS Turkish version and TAPES, PMA and SKS scores (p≤ 0.01). The Turkish version of CLASS has been shown to be a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used in clinical, research and prosthetic services in unilateral lower extremity amputees.
