GÜRCÜOĞLU İ. Developing A Simulation Based Educational Program on Advanced Trauma Life Support for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Service Workers, University, Graduate School of Health Sciences, Medical Education Doctoral Thesis, Ankara, 2022. The study is carried out in order to increase the knowledge and the skills of pre-hospital emergency healthcare workers aiming to develop an education program based on simulation in emergency trauma patients and applying the simulation based education program in realistic settings to evaluate the participants self-efficacy perceptions, performance and learning effect. The study was completed with the quantitive and qualitative data in mixed design between 2019-2021 years with 41 workers who were in Konya Province Health Department Emergency Healthcare Stations. When compared the participants Sim-TİLYAD education post-assesment points and pre-assesment points; the increase in post-assesment points was statistically significant (p <0.01). The pre-assesment points in Sim-TİLYAD educationand post assesment points in TİLYAD education was compared; the pre-assesment points were statistically significant (p <0.01). The levels of knowledge, skills were decresaed in time between the educations. Focus group studies were carried out in qualitative analyse phase after TİLYAD and Sim-TİLYAD education. The main theme successed from the coding made with the content analysis method are self-efficacy perception, requirement, the efficiacy of education and the method of education. The theme with the highest amount of data is “the efficiacy of the education” with 31.42% in TİLYAD education. The theme with the highest amount of data is “self-efficacy” with 36.36% in Sim-TİLYAD education.
