Abstract

Understanding the process of perception is important for understanding areas of indeterminacy. The time december from the beginning of the sensory process of perception to the moment of identification in consciousness determines the way of existence of the image that is formed in the mind. At what times and conditions the image undergoes changes, it is related to the understanding of changes and transformations in states of uncertainty. The process of perception, which begins with sensory processes takes place with an integrated perception: the mind creates an image in a state of flow and formation. But this form of existence is never identical with the being itself, the fluid structure of consciousness-it constantly changes and becomes ambiguous with the mind. In this context, the thesis focuses on the processes of shaping the image of the mind in a state of uncertainty in the relationship of perception and image. The philosophical, physiological and artistic dimensions of ambiguity have been studied with a comprehensive research and the artists who directly or indirectly address the indeterminacy of the image in the art of painting have been investigated. The new possibilities offered by technology have offered new and different expansions to the concept of indeterminacy of the image. Within the scope of the thesis, application studies have been carried out on the concept of indeterminacy with this approach.
